A Postdoctoral Fellow position (funded by NIH grants and Georgia Research Alliance) is available in the lab of Dr Yukai He, Associate Professor of Medicine, MCG Cancer Center, Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. Dr. He’s research is focused on understanding the mechanisms of T cell activation, the potential of using immunization for tumor immunotherapy, and strategies for overcoming tumor induced immune suppression. Candidates should have a Ph D. degree in the field of immunology, especially tumor immunology and hand-on experience of immunology experimenting. Previous experiences in cell culture and transfection, recombinant DNA technology, construction and production of recombinant viral vectors are desirable. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Motivated Ph D. graduates with ambition of becoming top notch scientists by conducting cutting edge researches are encouraged to apply.
