| Full-time Job Opportunities for Biochemists, Biochemical Engineers, and Molecular or Cellular Biologists Job Description: Shanghai Henlius Biotech Co. Ltd. is a joint venture company formed by Shanghai Fosun Pharma (复星医药) and Henlius Biopharmaceuticals Inc. The company will focus on development and commercialization of biosimilars and bio-betters using state-of-the-art technologies. Shanghai Henlius is currently seeking several experienced biochemists, biochemical engineers, as well as molecular and/or cell biologists to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate must have the following educational background and one or more of the desired technical experiences: 1.M.S. or Ph.D. degree from a leading university/institute, majoring in one or more of biological sciences, biochemical engineering, immunology, or biochemistry. 2.Excellent communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. 3.Scientific publication(s) in SCI journal(s). 4.DNA/gene enzymatic manipulations, cloning and expression in bacterial, yeast, and/or mammalian systems. 5.Protein characterizations using HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and other methodologies. 6.Grow, transfer and expand mammalian cells using cell culture techniques. 7.Protein purifications using liquid chromatography. 8.Process development and process scale up for manufacturing of protein products. 9.Development of cell-based bioassays and immunoassays. 10.Experience with bioreactors (optional). Job Location: The laboratory is located in the Caohejing High Tech Park (漕河泾科技园区) of Shanghai. Employees will also have opportunities to be trained in our U.S. company which is located in the Silicon Valley (San Francisco Bay Area) through internal training/development programs. Compensation: The compensation will be ¥55,000 - ¥120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a variety of generous benefits.
